Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Expansion & Scaling:

    Drive branch network growth across the state as per the centralised expansion plan; identify high-potential locations, monitor new store launches, and ensure scalability of operations.
  • Revenue Growth:

    Achieve the mandate of doubling revenue through aggressive business development, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Centralised Sales Alignment:

    Work closely with the Head of Sales to execute strategies, monitor performance, and implement uniform sales processes across branches.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead branch managers and sales staff across the state, ensuring strong performance, discipline, and customer focus.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Ensure strict compliance with centralised policies, SOPs, audit standards, and ethical gold-buying practices.
  • Market Penetration:

    Map local markets, track competitor activities, and introduce initiatives to strengthen the brand presence.
  • Customer Experience:

    Maintain high levels of transparency, trust, and customer satisfaction in all gold-buying transactions.
  • Performance Monitoring:

    Review branch performance dashboards, ensure accountability, and drive corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:

    Liaise with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning under a centralised system.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    Graduate / MBA preferred, with strong business acumen.
  • Experience:

    10 15 years, with proven experience in gold/jewellery/financial services/retail industry, handling multi-location operations.
  • Proven Track Record:

    Successfully managed large teams and scaled up business revenue significantly (preferably double-digit growth).
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and team management.
    • Deep knowledge of retail operations and customer behavior in the gold/jewellery sector.
    • Financial acumen with ability to manage P&L at the state level.
    • Strategic thinking with execution excellence.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
