Job Description

Product/ Business Area - Pre Engineered Bldg Systems. Given the tremendous rise in demand in the area of infrastructure, warehousing and manufacturing facilities, Gk Ispat Private Limited has decided to diversify their current business portfolio. Through one of their Group Companies, they have decided to commence business for Design, Manufacture, Supply and Erection of PEB . The production facility is coming up at their Malur facility in the outskirts of Bangalore and should be ready in all respects by end of 2023. Location - Bangalore, Karnataka Job Description - Candidate is required to Head the Business Development and Sales function for the PEB business. Gain in depth knowledge of the products including their value propositions, cost benefit analysis and other unique offerings. Map business potential for this business within Karnataka and adjoining States. Identify Potential Customers( current and future) and Influencers ( Architects, Project Design Team etc. ) for Business Development along with his team. Develop and implement Customer Contact plan for his team ( including cold calls ) Follow up on 'hot' leads for generation of enquiries / Participate in Tenders and propose suitable offers. Will be actively involved throughout the Order Generation to Order Fullfillment Cycle. This will call for close coordination with various agencies ( Internal and external ) like Design , Production , Supply Chain , Accounts and Erection teams. Will assume full responsibility for all - Accounts Receivables. Generate an Annual Business plan and formulate ways to achieve sales volumes, orders and prices. Identify, Recruit and Develop a suitable team for growing the business. Qualifications/ Experience - Candidate must preferably BE in Civil and Structural Engg and / or PG in Business Mgmt. Graduates and / or Diploma Holders are also welcome to apply. Candidates must have minimum 7 years in Project Sales and Bus. Dev experience especially in the Pre Engineered Steel Bldgs business. Additional experience in Construction or related Industry will be of help. Others - Candidates should have: Sound business and product knowledge. Very good commercial acumen. Good negotiation, communication, inter personal skills and be a good team player. Exhibit passion for key account management, result and achievement orientation. Be able to lead, guide and mentor his team effectively - conduct relevant Performance Mgmt of his team. Knowledge of local language will be an added plus point. Reporting Relationship - Selected Candidates will report to Director Emolument - This can be discussed openly during the time of the interview.
