Job Description

Position Title:

Business Head B2B Travel Agency

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Leadership & Strategy

  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of the B2B travel business PAN India.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive business expansion through agent network growth and high-value partnerships.

2. Airline & Supplier Relations

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with airline partners, consolidators, and global distribution systems (GDS).
  • Negotiate competitive airfares, commission structures, and promotional deals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure the best rates, incentives, and exclusive offers for agents.

3. Staff & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team across sales, ticketing, operations, and support functions.
  • Set performance goals and monitor KPIs to ensure high productivity and service standards.
  • Conduct regular training and development programs to upskill staff.

4. Key Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with high-value B2B agents and corporate clients.
  • Provide personalized solutions to retain and grow key accounts.
  • Resolve escalations quickly to maintain client satisfaction and trust.

5. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure smooth functioning of ticketing, refunds, reissues, and customer support.
  • Implement cost control measures and streamline operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, IATA regulations, and industry standards.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Work closely with senior management to align local business goals with company objectives.
  • Provide periodic reports on sales performance, market feedback, and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with finance for budgeting, forecasting, and payment collection.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Graduate or Postgraduate in Business, Travel & Tourism, or related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 812 years in the travel industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in B2B or travel.
  • Strong network of airline and supplier contacts.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, deal negotiation, and business expansion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and travel technology platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
