Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buying house representatives and international clients.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and executed.
  • Product Development & Merchandising:

  • Work closely with design and production teams to create jewellery collections that align with client preferences and market trends.
  • Oversee product sampling, approvals, and final production to meet quality and delivery expectations.
  • Market Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand global trends, client demands, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to target potential clients and expand the business.
  • Order Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, from initial client inquiry to final delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding order status, pricing, and timelines.
  • Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through buying houses and direct clients.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Coordination & Problem Solving:

  • Collaborate with internal departments like design, production, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactively address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to products or deliveries.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance metrics, including sales targets, delivery timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to management on business performance and opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or related fields (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in merchandising with a strong background in buying houses, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  • Proven track record in managing international clients and driving revenue growth.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing and global market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
