Business Development Trainee (Sales) – Solar

Job Description

• Identify and engage potential customers interested in solar energy solutions through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Support the sales team in lead generation, follow-ups, and closing deals for solar rooftop/captive power projects.
• Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and the company’s offering.
• Conduct basic site assessments for solar feasibility, document findings, and assist in preparing sales proposals based on customer needs.
• Participate in meetings with sales managers to discuss growth strategies and review pipeline status.
• Maintain updated records using CRM systems, track sales activities, and report performance metrics regularly.
• Coordinate with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Research competitor products and stay current on industry trends to identify market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate (any stream); preference for those with exposure to sales, marketing, or renewable energy domains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated approach.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and CRM tools is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₹12,000 (CTC).

• Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Field work and office work as required).
