Job Description

In the Business Development role, you will drive lead generation and ensure timely and effective closures. Your main responsibility will be to deliver market product penetration and promotion to drive architectural and design sales efforts. You will also foster relationships at a senior level with Principal architects to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Identify key A&Ds and target clients aligned with each firm - Prioritize target accounts and strategies to develop each account - Work collaboratively with relevant A&D firms to increase market share and develop strong business relationships - Apply working knowledge of the A&D community and contacts to influence specifications - Promote, communicate, and positively represent Lixil products, services, and capabilities to A&D firms, influencers, and potential customers - Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times - Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with sales leadership, area sales teams, and cross-functional strategic account teams - Generate maximum business in the form of leads and specifications - Ensure timely and effective closure through persistent follow-up with clients and the sales team - Submit reporting formats timely and maintain a good funnel of leads to contribute to achieving sales goals Qualifications Required: - Prior experience of 5-6 years in Architects specification function or key accounts (Retail) - Relevant industries experience in Sanitaryware, Lighting, and Furniture - Strong follow-up skills and a go-getter attitude In the Business Development role, you will drive lead generation and ensure timely and effective closures.
