The role of Business Development involves driving lead generation and ensuring timely and effective closures. This includes delivering market product penetration, promoting architectural and Design sales efforts, and establishing relationships at a senior level with Principal architects to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying key A&Ds and target clients, prioritizing target accounts, developing account strategies, and collaborating with relevant A&D firms to increase market share and build strong business relationships. Utilizing your knowledge of the A&D community and contacts, you will work towards influencing specifications and promoting Lixil products, services, and capabilities to A&D firms, influencers, and potential customers with a high degree of professionalism. Additionally, you will develop collaborative relationships with sales leadership, area sales teams, and cross-functional strategic account teams to support market account initiatives in achieving sales goals. Your role will involve generating leads and specifications, ensuring effective closure through persistent follow-up with clients and the sales team, and submitting timely reports to maintain a strong lead funnel contributing to the overall achievement of assigned targets. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-6 years of prior experience in Architects specification function or key accounts (Retail) and relevant industry experience in Sanitaryware, Lighting, and Furniture.
