Job Summary

Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales and market presence.
• Identify and approach new customers, channels, and partnership opportunities.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, digital platforms, and referrals.
• Present and pitch solar solutions to clients – both residential and commercial.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
• Collaborate with the technical and project teams to provide tailored proposals.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report performance metrics.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer insights to drive growth strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

• 4+ years

  of proven experience in

  Business Development / Sales

  in the

  Solar / Renewable Energy

  or

  B2B sectors

  .
• Strong understanding of solar energy products, services, and ROI-driven selling.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital lead generation platforms.
• Must be willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business events.
