Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer with a strong track record in the renewable energy or solar industry . The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales and market presence. Identify and approach new customers, channels, and partnership opportunities. Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, digital platforms, and referrals. Present and pitch solar solutions to clients – both residential and commercial. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners. Collaborate with the technical and project teams to provide tailored proposals. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report performance metrics. Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer insights to drive growth strategies. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales in the Solar / Renewable Energy or B2B sectors . Strong understanding of solar energy products, services, and ROI-driven selling. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital lead generation platforms.
