Job Description

As a Business Development Officer (BDO) at our company, your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, formulating strategies to expand market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research. - Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales goals and business objectives. - Deliver presentations, negotiate deals, and facilitate closures with clients/customers. - Cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients. - Address client concerns promptly, offer appropriate solutions, and ensure client satisfaction. - Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and clients. - Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify growth opportunities. - Provide insights and recommendations to the management to support strategic decision-making. - Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices. - Assist in devising business development plans aligned with company objectives. - Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and business prospects. - Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and propose enhancements. - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to devise campaigns and promotional activities. - Participate in networking events, trade fairs, and exhibitions to showcase the company's services/products. - Forge partnerships and alliances to enhance the company's market positioning. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or client relations. - Proficient in negotiation, communication, and presentation. - Capable of analyzing data, spotting trends, and deriving strategic insights. - Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adept at working independently or collaboratively. - Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business communication platforms. Work Environment: - Primarily office-based role with frequent field visits/meetings with clients. - Potential travel involvement for business development activities, events, and client engagements.
