Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends within the food testing sector.
• Analyze competitor strategies and stay updated on market developments to create competitive business strategies.

• Client Acquisition:

• Identify and approach potential clients, including food manufacturers, exporters, and processors, offering them the food testing services.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including existing and prospective clients.

• Strategic Partnerships:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic partnerships with industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies.
• Identify new channels for business development and create long-term client engagement plans.

• Sales Planning & Forecasting:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and sales targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and activity reports to ensure the achievement of business goals.

• Client Relationship Management:

• Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and fostering client loyalty.

• Product Knowledge:

• Develop a deep understanding of the companys food testing services, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide product and service presentations to potential clients and participate in industry events, exhibitions, and seminars.

• Reporting:

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, new client acquisition, and market activities.
• Track and report key business metrics such as client growth, lead conversion, and revenue generation.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of the

  food testing industry

• Proven experience

  in business development, sales, and client management, preferably in a related field.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications:

• MBA in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field

  from a recognized institution.
• 4-8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the

  food testing
