Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to onboard and manage partnerships with education consultants, FFMCs, and immigration service providers. The ideal candidate will promote and sell current bank accounts and GICs to eligible clients, especially international students, while ensuring excellent customer experience and consistent sales growth. Key Responsibilities Onboard and manage partners (Education Consultants, FFMCs, Immigrant Service Providers) to promote bank products. Promote and sell current accounts and GICs to eligible customers. Clearly explain account features, benefits, and terms to clients. Guide clients especially international students through account opening and GIC processes. Build strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Address customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records. Work with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Stay updated on product changes, banking regulations, and market trends. Identify emerging markets, competitors, and opportunities for growth. Requirements High school diploma required; Bachelors in Business/Finance is a plus. Experience in sales, banking, or customer service preferred. Knowledge of financial products, especially GICs. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team. CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency. Multilingual skills are an advantage, especially when working with international clients.
