Job Description

1. Business Development Explore, reach and analyze market trends and identify new opportunities in assigned region Maintain the P&L for the Sugar Department at or better than the target levels Assisting in preparation of Business Plan for the coming financial year Provide business updates & reports on the department to the HOD and leadership team on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis Regular business updates at department level and / or as specified.

2. Revenue growth from existing accounts Revenues from existing accounts to grow as per department targets New logo acquisitions for the department New customers to be acquired as per targets for the department Ensure that customer service, customer engagement and customer experience is at highest levels. Number of instances of strategic products sold to be as per targets.

3. Keep the department team inspired, motivated and happy with their work

  • Employee Satisfaction Scores (ESAT) & engagement levels to be as per company & industry norms
  • 360 feedback from the team should be overall positive
  • Motivate work force and employees and set up KPI\for the team

4. Direct involvement in hiring of staff for the department (working closely with HOD / HR Head)

  • Ensure best talent is acquired
  • Conduct technical interview of candidates

  • Leadership:
  • Ability to lead a team with extremely strong people management skills
  • Other department knowledge:
  • Subject matter expertise in or more focus areas of other departments
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
  • Solution expertise for the Distillery process
  • Knowledge on enzyme technology and applicability in Sugar and Sugar plants
  • Strong knowledge of benefits of enzyme technology e.g., significantly increased
  • efficiency in sugar & distillery factory output along with higher quality output
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Business management expertise:
  • Good sales abilities as well as customer relationship management and project execution skills.
  • Bio Manufacturing:
  • Understanding of overall biotech and manufacturing sector, industry trends and opportunities
  • Communication:
  • Good verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and engage with customers, partners and team members on a range of topics
  • Ability to clearly communicate companys products and benefits to senior management of the customer and engage then to win new business, and / or expand existing business
  • Strong in creation and handling dealer / distributor network
  • In-depth knowledge of company products (after training)
