Role Overview

We are looking for a mid-senior level Business Development professional who understands the outsourcing/offshoring industry and can drive strategic growth across international markets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in lead generation, relationship building, proposal management, and outbound sales, combined with a working understanding of marketing to support brand visibility and demand generation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities across key markets (US, UK, Ireland, AU) for Accounting, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and related outsourcing services.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through structured outreach (email, LinkedIn, calling, events, partnerships).
  • Conduct discovery calls, understand client requirements, and present SandMartins solutions clearly and confidently.
  • Coordinate with internal service teams to create accurate proposals, pricing structures, and capability decks.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles from first touchpoint to onboarding.

Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, website content, service pages, case studies, and email marketing.
  • Provide inputs on market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning.
  • Work on digital outreach initiatives including webinars, events, newsletters, and other brand-building activities.
  • Support creation of targeted content for LinkedIn and industry outreach.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–8 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in outsourcing/offshoring services, accounting/KPO, financial services, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of global markets and B2B sales cycles.
  • Ability to explain service offerings such as accounting outsourcing, bookkeeping, tax prep, payroll, and financial back-office work.
  • Good command of marketing fundamentals—content briefing, campaign ideas, messaging, and positioning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Teamwork, or similar).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand numbers, pricing, and client requirements.

Preferred Attributes

  • Exposure to international clients.
  • Comfortable with structured outreach and performance-driven targets.
  • Ability to work closely with leadership teams and cross-functional units.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of operating independently.

Education

  • Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or digital strategy are a bonus.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
