We are seeking a Business Development Manager Hydrogen Division to drive sales growth and market expansion in the clean energy sector. The role focuses on developing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing strong client relationships across energy, manufacturing, and transportation industries. The manager will act as the key point of contact for clients, provide customized hydrogen solutions, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution : - Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for hydrogen solutions in targeted markets.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the hydrogen and clean energy sectors.
- Generate leads, build and manage a robust sales pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and quarterly/annual sales goals.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management : - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in energy, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Deliver tailored solutions aligned with clients sustainability and energy transition goals.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty through timely service and follow-ups.
Product Knowledge & Market Research : - Stay updated on hydrogen technologies, energy storage solutions, and evolving industry regulations.
- Educate and advise clients on hydrogen applications such as fuel cells, storage systems, and green hydrogen production.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and market demands.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position hydrogen solutions effectively.
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, product development) to execute sales strategies seamlessly.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Identify partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to accelerate market penetration.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners.
- Build strong networks with channel partners, distributors, and industry influencers.
- 3 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales, preferably in hydrogen, clean energy, or related industries.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and fostering long-term client relationships.
Skills - Strong knowledge of hydrogen technologies, renewable energy, and the energy transition landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to design customized solutions for complex client requirements.
- Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemical or Mechanical, or related fields.
- Masters degree or technical certification in energy or hydrogen technologies is a plus.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
- Strong passion for sustainability and hydrogens role in the future of clean energy.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen production technologies, or energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of global/regional regulatory frameworks and clean energy policies.
