Business Development Manager Out/ In licensing lead

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Strategic Partnerships:*

- Identify and assess potential licensing opportunities for patented assets and R&D innovations.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and industry partners.

2. *Sourcing & Negotiations:*

- Lead negotiations for licensing agreements and collaborations, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and legal, to structure deals that maximize asset value and mitigate risks.

3. *Market Analysis:*

- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential partners, and competitive landscapes in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Analyze opportunities for in-licensing and out-licensing of assets to enhance product offerings and market presence.

4. *Project Management:*

- Manage ongoing partnerships to ensure successful implementation and achievement of objectives.

5. *Reporting & Strategy Development:*

- Prepare and present business development reports to senior management, highlighting notable opportunities and industry insights.

- Contribute to the formulation of business development strategies in line with overall company direction.

*Qualifications:*

- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, PhD) is preferred.

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in business development within a multinational pharmaceutical company, with a focus on licensing.

- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating licensing agreements for patented and R&D assets.

- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Please note that the Role will have 70% FTE on in licensing & Out licensing activities for the groups health care vertical and will also involve commercial operations in International markets including business development.
