About Lorien Finance

Lorien Finance helps students from India and other countries get easy and affordable loans to study abroad. We work with top global banks and use smart technology to make the loan process fast, simple and transparent. Our team gives students personal guidance and supports them at every stepfrom choosing the right loan to getting it approved. As we expand, we are looking for Business Development Managers to grow our on-ground presence in key locations.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development:

  • Identify potential partners, including educational consultants, counsellors, agents, and DSAs.
  • Develop and execute strategies to establish and nurture partnerships.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements.

  • Lead Sourcing and Conversion:

  • Collaborate with partners to generate and qualify student loan leads.
  • Ensure partners are well-informed about loan products and processes.
  • Monitor and support the conversion of leads into loan applications.

  • Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to partners.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by partners promptly.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze the performance of partnership channels.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation and conversion metrics.
  • Develop insights and strategies to improve partnership effectiveness.

  • Market and Industry Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Gather feedback from partners and the market to refine loan products and services.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and new partnership channels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales, preferably in the financial services or education sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of loan products and financial services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinker skilled in developing and executing effective partnership strategies.
  • Results-driven, focused on achieving targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing partnership performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
