We’re hiring a Business Development Manager at Kidcity (Kolkata) Hey folks — We’re building Kidcity with a big vision: to create India’s most trusted, everyday kidswear brand — one that’s affordable, comfortable, and truly connects with young parents across the country. We’re present across 45+ SIS counters in Bihar, Jharkhand & Spencer’s stores in Bengal + UP. Our D2C engine is heating up, retail is scaling, and partnerships are building — but we now need someone sharp, grounded, and hungry to lead our business development vertical . This isn’t just about sales. It’s about building relationships. Expanding distribution. Taking calls with retail chains, wholesalers, partners, and turning potential into progress — while staying aligned with the heart of our brand. Role: Business Development Manager Location: Kolkata Experience: 4–7 years in apparel & retail What you’ll be doing: Identifying and onboarding new SIS stores, retail partners & distributors across regions Deep-diving into state-level data to find new pockets for growth Managing wholesale partnerships and ensuring consistent billing & stock movement Working closely with me & the team on expansion plans and sales targets Reporting clean numbers — and building a growth engine that’s both ambitious & stable Being a culture-first person — someone who juniors look up to, not complain about What I’m really looking for: Someone who can build , not just chase A doer who gets their hands dirty — not a manager who hides behind reports Someone who’s professional, but human. Aggressive, but grounded.
