Job Description for Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and increasing revenue streams. The role involves strategic planning, sales, and building long-term partnerships to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities to expand the companys customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product, and finance) to deliver tailored solutions.
Monitor business performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights for decision-making.
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and exhibitions to promote the company.
Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client engagement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
Strong understanding of sales processes, client relationship management, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
