BDM2 = South-East Mysore + Nanjangud BeltPosition Type: Full-TimeReporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Head of SalesRole OverviewThe Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving Alopas growth by:Building and nurturing long-term doctor and clinic relationshipsDriving sales of priority SKUs through structured engagementExecuting targeted marketing and outreach activitiesOwning territory-specific accountabilities across sales performance, relationship management, and brand presenceThis is a field-based role that requires active market engagement and performance-driven execution aligned with the companys innovative compensation model.Key Responsibilities & Deliverables1. Market Research & Opportunity IdentificationMap key Ayurvedic doctors, clinics, stockists, and super-stockists within territoryAnalyze local market potential and competitive landscape regularlyIdentify new business opportunities and untapped customer segments2. Lead Generation & Business DevelopmentGenerate new leads through clinic visits, referrals, events, and digital platformsQualify leads and prioritize them in alignment with Alopas product strategyMaintain an updated lead funnel and regularly follow up to maximize conversion3. Doctor & Distributor Relationship ManagementBuild and sustain trust-based relationships with doctors, clinics, stockists, and retailersConduct doctor visits, product detailing, sampling, and demonstrations effectivelyExecute prescription generation initiatives and track repeat ordering behavior4. Territory Sales Execution & Target AchievementAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (revenue, order volume, priority SKUs)Maintain full accountability for the sales performance of the assigned territoryManage order placement, payment collection coordination, and inventory planning with stockists5. Marketing, Branding & Outreach SupportPlan and execute doctor engagement programs, CMEs, clinic events, and WhatsApp group outreachSupport marketing activities including flyer distribution, competitive sampling, and event participationProvide on-ground feedback for product performance and marketing collateral effectiveness6. Reporting, Compliance & CRM DisciplineEnsure timely daily updates via Alopas Sales Tracker (Google Form/App/CRM system)Submit accurate reports on doctor visits, sample distribution, orders taken, and expense claimsParticipate in monthly performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement discussionsSkills & Competencies RequiredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsTerritory management and ownership mindsetSelf-motivated, disciplined, and target-drivenAbility to plan and execute structured doctor engagement strategiesProblem-solving approach with attention to detailFamiliarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office / Google Workspace (preferred)Knowledge RequiredGood understanding of Ayurveda or healthcare product sales (preferred but not mandatory)Sales principles, negotiation tactics, and lead qualification strategiesMarket analysis and competitor trackingDoctor detailing and prescription generation processesQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 3+ years of proven experience in business development, medical sales, FMCG, Pharma, Ayurvedic products, or wellness industryBachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Ayurveda, or related fields (MBA preferred but not mandatory)Basic working knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and mobile reporting systems.Ability to troubleshoot field challenges, adjust plans, and maintain a solutions-oriented approach.Self-driven and disciplined with a high sense of accountabilityPassion for holistic wellness, Ayurveda, and natural healthcare solutionsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate effectively with the teamPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedbackResilient, adaptable to changing targets and environmentsComfort with organizing small-scale CMEs, WhatsApp group management, flyer distribution, and product promotion activities.Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi mandatoryWhy Join Alopa Herbal Healthcare?Transparent compensation model with career growthRespectful and safe work environmentOpportunity to work with a purpose-driven brand in the wellness sectorOwnership of your territory with freedom to innovate and growRecognition through leaderboards, awards, and growth pathwaysAdditional InformationSchedule: Day shift, including fieldwork and clinic visitsTravel: Required within the assigned territory (local transportation reimbursed as per policy)Open Positions: 3 (Mysore Pilot Phase)Keys to Success: Hard Worker, Self-starter, Planning, Relationship Building, Negotiation Skills
