Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the event management company, your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and accounts. Leveraging your expertise in the event industry and network of contacts, you will lead efforts to expand the client base, increase market share, and achieve sales targets. Building relationships with prospects, understanding their event needs, and presenting tailored solutions will be key. Additionally, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service delivery to clients. - Identify and research prospective clients and market segments to develop targeted strategies for acquiring new business opportunities. - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target industries to establish the company as a preferred event management partner. - Generate leads through various sales and marketing activities, qualify leads, and assess their potential fit with company offerings. - Collaborate with creative and operations teams to develop customized event proposals, presentations, and pitches that address client needs and differentiate services. - Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and enhance brand visibility. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of events for new clients. Qualifications: - Masters degree in event management, marketing, or related field. - Proven experience as a business development manager or similar role in the event management industry. - Strong understanding of the event industry and ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and negotiate effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and team members. - Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to identifying opportunities. - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. - Flexibility to travel for client meetings and business development activities.,
