Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:

    • Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities to expand SSI's client portfolio.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and industry insights.
    • Arrange and conduct high-quality meetings virtual or in-person, with prospective clients to present solutions.

  • Account Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their training needs and advise on tailored solutions as required.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed annual targets.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales approaches.
  • Business Development:

    • Engage with senior decision-makers across industries to explore partnerships and strategic business opportunities.
    • Represent SSI at relevant industry forums, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and generate leads (selective, not frequent).
    • Maintain strong domain knowledge of survival training, safety operations, and associated industries.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics, client interactions, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
    • Use data-driven insights to enhance sales processes and strengthen business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Survival Training, Marine or related industry.

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and visit various locations.

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
