Business Development Manager (BDM)

Experience- 3–6years of experience in business development / field sales / industrial products, software, or IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new leads in the assigned mechanical or IT territory through calls, emails, events, and field visits.
• Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and product demos to understand technical requirements and position suitable solutions.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, driving repeat orders, cross‑selling, and upselling.
• Prepare commercial offers, techno‑commercial proposals, and presentations using MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Maintain accurate enquiry, quotation, and order trackers in Excel; prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, funnel reviews, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal technical, projects, and service teams to ensure correct sizing/selection, timely delivery, and after‑sales support.
• Monitor competitors, pricing, and market trends in mechanical/IT segments and share actionable feedback with management.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and collection targets while adhering to company policies and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any degree ( Preferred strong exposure to mechanical or IT products); Also MBA/PGDM in Marketing is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Good understanding of basic mechanical concepts (e.g., equipment, components) or IT/software solutions, enough to discuss requirements with technical buyers.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with a target‑oriented and self‑driven mindset.
