Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Opportunity Identification

  • Monitor government and private

    tender portals

    , consultant networks, and RFP platforms for new opportunities.
  • Develop leads through

    developer/PMC referrals

    ,

    consultant relationships

    ,

    LinkedIn outreach

    cold calling

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with company focus sectors (industrial, institutional, green, and infrastructure projects).

2. Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Conduct

    pre-bid meetings

    , site visits, and client requirement discussions.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and key decision-makers.
  • Maintain monthly engagement goals (e.g., 1220 client interactions per month).

3. Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Coordinate with estimation and design teams to prepare

    techno-commercial proposals

    .
  • Carry out

    cost estimation

    ,

    risk analysis

    , and

    financial feasibility studies

    .
  • Obtain internal approvals from estimation, finance, and management before submission.
  • Manage timely

    bid submissions

    and post-submission clarifications.

4. Negotiation & Order Finalization

  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, payment schedules, and technical clarifications.
  • Secure

    Letter of Award (LOA)

    and ensure contract signing as per company policy.
  • Collaborate with the execution team for project mobilization and handover.

5. Post-Award Coordination

  • Support documentation, permits, and bank guarantees post-award.
  • Conduct client debriefs and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Drive repeat business through relationship management and client satisfaction.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quarterly Order Inflow Targets:

    Number and value of LOAs (2–6 per quarter).
  • Revenue Contribution:

    Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Margin Achievement:

    Order inflow with target profit margins.
  • Lead Conversion Ratio:

    % of leads converted to LOAs.
  • Client Satisfaction & Retention:

    Based on post-award feedback.
  • Activity Metrics:

    Bid submissions, client meetings, and tender participation.
