Business Development Lead

As a Market Group Owner at Ameriprise India - PracticeSource, your role will involve growing the business through consultative sales calls and outreach activities. You will also be responsible for orienting Franchise advisors about the services offered at PracticeSource. Your key responsibilities will include: - Onboarding Ameriprise franchise advisors for Ameriprise India - PracticeSource Services - Supporting Market Group Owners on Sales Activities & Initiatives - Managing Market Groups after the initial training period - Engaging in Cold Calling to build key advisor relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate with and onboard advisors, and track potential opportunities - Conducting Consultation Calls to reach out to advisors, identify new leads, orient them with PS services, convert them into customers, and continue to grow the business by generating new planning demand - Supporting Sales Initiatives by driving, tracking, and reporting the success of marketing campaigns - Traveling (if required) to attend conferences, corporate offices, and advisor offices Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of financial planning tools and processes - Ability to collaborate, develop, and maintain relationships with field leaders - Effective time management skills - Strong attention to detail and organization - Ability to think on your feet and provide a consultative approach to advisors - Positive attitude and willingness to constantly learn and grow Preferred Qualifications: - Prior knowledge of financial planning tools would be advantageous - Experience in international sales, particularly in the US Market - Proficiency in Cold Calling About Our Company: Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, helping clients plan and achieve their financial objectives.
