Position : Business Development Intern

Identify and target new business opportunities in both corporate and individual insurance sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.

Developing a Field sales strategy and setting sales targets

Consulting with the internal team and management on product offerings

Generating sales leads through research, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings

Conduct market research to stay informed about trends in the insurance industry, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

Present and promote Investacc's insurance products to potential clients through meetings, calls, and presentations.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support for clients.

Track, manage, and follow up on leads to convert prospects into long-term clients.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client needs.

Negotiate and close deals in line with sales targets and revenue goals.

Monitor sales performance and report regularly to senior management.

Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry activities to build brand visibility and attract new business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

For freshers: A strong interest in business development and the insurance sector with a willingness to learn and grow.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and grow within a professional environment.

Candidates, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Positive attitude and a strong willingness to take on challenges.

Desired Profile:

Fresher/Experienced candidates with minimum 0-1 years of experience in Sales and Client Servicing

Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings

Excellent skills in communication and presentation
Knowledge in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
