Role: Business Development Intern (BDR)

outreach, lead generation, and initial customer conversations

Responsibilities

• Work on better defining the GTM/target market for the firm
• Research and build lists of potential exporters, freight forwarders, and LC users 
• Reach out via LinkedIn, email, and phone to generate interest in our solution
• Pitch the product clearly and secure discovery calls/demos. As you build trust, conduct those demos 
• Document customer pain points and feedback systematically to shape product roadmap
• Collaborate with the management to refine outreach scripts, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
• Represent the company in online trade forums and (if available) industry events in India

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills (written + verbal)
• Comfortable with LinkedIn, email tools, and professional networking
• Self-starter who is resourceful and willing to hustle to reach decision-makers
• Curiosity about

  exports, supply chain, fintech, or AI products

• Students or recent graduates (the discipline of study during undergraduate doesn’t matter)
