Business Development Executive/Manager

As a Business Development Manager/Assistant Manager in Mumbai, your role will involve identifying, developing, and expanding new business opportunities in the EPR domain. Your responsibilities will include informing, educating, and communicating activities related to EPR to targeted customers. You will be tasked with building business relationships with new and potential clients across India, as well as setting up, managing, and delivering agreed qualitative and quantitative results. Your duties will also involve cold calling and referrals of plastic producers, importers, and brand owners, generating leads for new business prospecting, meeting with customers physically and virtually, attending business events for networking, negotiating deals, closing business, drafting proposals, and responding to RFQs. To qualify for this role, you must have: - The ability to convey information effectively and understand what other people are saying - Skills in persuasion, negotiation, and service orientation - Industry background in plastic waste management Ideally, you will also have: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 2-3 years of prior industry-related business development experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies - Focus and goal-oriented approach Working at EcoEx offers you the opportunity to be part of the first Indian digital marketplace that offers plastic waste management services, waste commodity trading, and technology consulting services.
