About the Role

Business Development Executive

This role involves engaging with prospective clients, developing customized solutions, and guiding them through the sales process. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and persuasive professional who is passionate about closing deals, increasing revenue, and contributing to the companys overall success. Occasional travel may be required.

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business leads through calls, emails, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.
  • Develop tailored solutions and present product offerings to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve sales skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (preferably in software/technology sector).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and sales tracking.
  • Understanding of market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and business acumen.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (mandatory minimum: Bachelors degree).
  • Experience in cold calling, outbound sales, or inside sales.
  • Familiarity with

    CRM tools.

  • Strong understanding of

    B2B sales processes

    and client relationship management.
