Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in the logistics and supply chain industry, focusing on developing new business relationships and expanding the companys client base.

Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the logistics sector.

Client Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue growth and meet company targets.

Proposal Creation: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the companys services and capabilities.

Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and timely closing of deals.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the logistics teams to ensure seamless implementation and execution of services.

Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, tracking performance against goals and KPIs.

Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, enhancing its presence in the market.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Knowledge: A good understanding of the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.

Personality: Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
