Regional Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager, based in Chennai. The Regional Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, develop strategic plans, and ensure customer satisfaction within their region.

Client Coordination:

• Act as a point of contact for regional clients
• Ensure SLA adherence and high service quality
• Handle escalations and resolve service-related issues proactively

P&L Ownership:

• Monitor regional profitability and cost control
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and routing
• Drive performance metrics across the team

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of operations executives, procurement officers, and field staff
• Train, mentor, and monitor performance
• Ensure alignment with VFRYTs core values and processes

Reporting & Strategy:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and process improvement suggestions
• Collaborate with tech/product teams for feature feedback

Experience Required:

Qualifications

• Experience in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain Management
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Proficiency in using advanced technological tools for supply chain management
• Strong vendor network in trucking/FTL industry
• Hands-on, problem-solving attitude with people and team management skills
• Familiarity with logistics software and basic data tools (Excel, CRM, etc.)
• Strong communication skills Hindi Speaking fluency is a plus
