Regional Manager

Position:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:

• Achieve regional sales targets and ensure business growth.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence.
• Drive sales performance by managing and motivating the sales team.

• Team Management:

• Lead, train, and mentor Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and set individual/team goals.
• Ensure adherence to sales processes and guidelines.

• Market Expansion & Customer Relations:

• Identify new business opportunities and develop key customer relationships.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributors.
• Ensure effective territory management and expansion.

• Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Coordination with Other Departments:

• Work closely with marketing and product teams for promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics for inventory management.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education:

  B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

• Experience:

  Minimum 8-15 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and sales strategies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
