Business Development Executive - Solar EPC

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial solar EPC market.
• Conduct site assessments in coordination with technical teams to evaluate feasibility.
• Present proposals and solar solutions, including financial and environmental benefits (ROI, payback period, net metering, etc.).
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure client expectations are met.
• Keep updated on solar technology, local/state/incentive programs, and industry trends.
• Maintain records of leads, opportunities, and sales performance using CRM tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in solar, energy, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, net metering.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office.
• Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical background in solar PV or electrical systems is a plus.
• Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial solar projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and solar policies (MNRE, DISCOMs, state subsidies, etc.).
