Job Description

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a driven and result-oriented Business Development Executive to grow our SaaS customer base
  • You will be responsible for lead generation, product pitching, client handling, and closing deals
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys consultative selling, tech products, and fast-paced growth environments

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for our SaaS products
  • Prospect through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events, and referrals
  • Understand customer needs and propose suitable product solutions
  • Conduct product demos (online/offline) and explain features, pricing, and ROI
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and update CRM regularly
  • Handle negotiations and close deals to meet monthly/quarterly targets
  • Coordinate with marketing for campaign leads and follow-up strategies
  • Work closely with product and support teams for smooth onboarding
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and explore upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Track competitor activity and share market insights with leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduation in any discipline (MBA/PG preferred but not mandatory)
  • 0-3 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, preferably SaaS/IT services
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and field/inside sales mix (as required)
  • Basic understanding of SaaS business models and subscription sales
  • Ability to handle targets and work in a performance-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience selling software products, ERPs, CRMs, HRMS, or industry-specific SaaS
  • Exposure to lead generation funnels and consultative selling
  • Knowledge of Kolkata/West Bengal business ecosystem
