Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing & Quotations

  • Understand customer requirements (application, volume, specifications) to prepare accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Share monthly price updates with clients and understand their upcoming projections.
  • Distribute revised price lists to the internal team regularly.

Sales Conversion & Customer Follow-ups

  • Actively pursue leads and convert them into successful orders, maintaining profitability.
  • Collect feedback on samples; in case of rejection, gather technical requirements to offer a suitable counter product.
  • Follow up diligently on pending payments and unresolved customer responses.

Account Revival & Growth

  • Identify dormant or frozen accounts and initiate steps for reactivation.
  • Rebuild rapport and explore business potential with previously inactive clients.

Product Portfolio Expansion

  • Cross-sell and upsell additional pigments and related products to existing customers.

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct regular client visits to maintain relationships and spot new business opportunities.
  • Address queries and collaborate with internal teams to offer customized solutions.

Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with factory and technical teams for:
    • Timely dispatch of pending orders and documents (e.g., COA).
    • Updates on new product developments and testing outcomes.
    • Prompt resolution of product complaints or issues.

Marketing & Exhibitions

  • Oversee preparation and timely delivery of exhibition materials and displays for marketing events.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Compile domestic sales reports for internal review and strategic planning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data using Salesforce for mapping and analytics.

Tender Participation

  • Prepare and submit tenders within deadlines, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in the pigments, dyes, or chemical manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong negotiation ability and customer handling experience
  • Willingness to travel for client visits
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making
  • Team coordination and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tool
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
