Business Development Executive - Industrial Protective Coatings Salary : Rs 20,000 - 30,000 per month Location: Behala, Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time About Us We are a fast-growing startup offering advanced corrosion protection solutions for industrial metal structures. Our innovative coating systems are engineered to increase asset life, reduce maintenance costs, and eliminate the need for environmentally hazardous practices. As we expand our footprint, we’re looking for a driven and capable Business Development Executive to help accelerate our growth through strategic client engagement and new business acquisition. Role Overview As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with clients, preparing proposals, and closing orders. This role also involves site visits, client correspondence, record maintenance, and supporting internal coordination efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients through research, networking, and follow-ups. Client Interaction & Presentations : Conduct meetings, deliver presentations, and explain product offerings effectively. Commercial Proposals & Quotation Management : Prepare and share customized quotations and offers based on client requirements. Sales & Order Finalization: Follow up on leads, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals. Client Visits & Coordination: Attend client site meetings to understand needs and provide appropriate solutions. Documentation & ERP Updates : Maintain detailed records of client interactions, proposals, orders, and progress in the ERP system. Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams (technical, operations, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of orders. Qualifications MBA/Master’s in Marketing from a recognized institution Strong communication skills in English and Hindi Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Comfortable using digital tools; knowledge of ERP or CRM software is an advantage Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate them clearly to clients Energetic, organized, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits Experience 2 years of relevant experience preferred Candidates with no prior experience who demonstrate the required skills, attitude, and enthusiasm are also encouraged to apply.
