Business Development Executive

Role Summary:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calling and prospecting. This is an entry-to-mid-level position suited for a proactive, energetic, and persuasive communicator who wants to be part of a dynamic sales team in the market research domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate outbound calls to potential clients across industries to pitch Hansa Research’s services
• Identify key decision-makers (Marketing/Insights/Strategy heads) and assess their business needs
• Fix introductory meetings and demos for the senior sales team with qualified leads
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress in the CRM
• Follow up diligently on leads from events, marketing campaigns, referrals, and previous interactions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align outreach efforts with business objectives
• Contribute to developing outreach strategies and prospecting lists

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or telemarketing
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English (and preferably Hindi or any regional language)
• Confidence to initiate conversations with mid-to-senior-level professionals
• Basic understanding of market research or willingness to learn quickly
• Familiarity with CRM tools and email outreach platforms
• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with clients in sectors like FMCG, BFSI, Media, or Tech
• Prior exposure to a market research firm or knowledge of research methodologies
