Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Promotion of business, service, products, and brand at customer end.
  • Identifying new customers.
  • Generate business from sectors such as Automotive, Construction, power plants, textile, food processing, etc.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual volume/value targets.
  • Promote and sell industrial-grade lubricants (hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils, etc.)
  • Conduct lube surveys, site audits, and application assessments.
  • Recommend proper lubricants based on machine type, temperature, load, and operating environment.
  • Provide Total Lubrication Management (TLM) solutions to customers.
  • Monitor and optimize lubricant consumption, reduce wear & tear, and extend oil drain intervals.
  • Compiling lists describing our organizations offerings.
  • Technical issue resolution of customers by understanding actual requirements of customers.
  • Customer visits as per customer techno commercial requirement.
  • Suggestions of the cost-effective product to customer along with help in formulating the product.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning.
  • Evaluating and maintaining marketing strategy.
  • Researching demand for the organization’s products and services.
  • Evaluating competition market.
  • Making presentation of all Individual Products presentation.
  • Attending customer complain and meeting them for sales support and introduction for company products
  • Day to day sales planning and execution, focusing on effective coverage and reach within the allocated region.
  • Ensure the weekly and monthly targets are accomplished
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Establish and nurture cross selling opportunities with other businesses and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular product training and orientation sessions for the aftermarket sales team
  • Manage the financial performance of the product lines, including revenue generation and profitability analysis.

Automotive Lubricants

Industrial Lubricants

Key Technical Knowledge:

  • Lubricant applications in heavy machinery and industrial equipment

  • Viscosity grades, ISO/AGMA specifications, oil analysis parameters (TAN, TBN, viscosity index)

  • Basics of tribology (friction, wear, lubrication)

  • Knowledge of OEM specifications and approvals

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong B2B industrial sales skills

  • Technical presentation and problem-solving ability

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and lubrication needs

  • Communication and negotiation skills

  • CRM & Excel proficiency

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and technically sound
