Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to lead business development efforts, build strong client relationships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid network in the hospitality and food service sector, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of client needs. Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and engage with potential clients including hotels, restaurants, hospitals, mess kitchens, and institutional buyers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business. Consultant, Architect & Manufacturer Engagement: Meet and build partnerships with industry consultants, kitchen planners, architects, interior designers, and food service project managers. Present North Star’s product range and turnkey capabilities in a structured and consultative manner. Business Development & Sales Growth: Develop a robust sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events to generate leads. Provide feedback and market insights to help shape product and marketing strategy. Project Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate with internal teams for project proposals, quotations, and order processing. Ensure timely reporting to the head office with client updates, market feedback, and sales progress. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and evolving needs in the food and hospitality industry. Requirements Minimum 4 years of sales or business development experience in the food service, commercial kitchen equipment, or hospitality sector. Strong fluency in English – written and spoken. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and close deals. Proven ability to manage and grow a sales territory or segment. Understanding of kitchen layouts, equipment specifications, or food service operations is a strong advantage. Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven with a professional appearance and attitude. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry interactions.
