KRA: Business Development Executive
1. Supplier Development & Relationship Management
Sourcing client form Linkedin, Fundoodata, Google , Indiamart, Tread india.
Search offline networks of the decision maker of Scrap Sale from Purchase,Sales , Commercial departments of companies.
Build strong, long-term relationships with scrap vendors, agents, and dealers.
Maintain an active database of potential and existing suppliers with detailed material specs, pricing, and terms.
Write emails professionally to record all discussions with the client
Be the interface between the client and the operations team from contract to completion of event
Create presentations / Quotation based on the client requirements
Co-ordinate with the operations team to generate proposals and pre-event P&L
2. Procurement & Sourcing Targets
Achieve monthly and quarterly scrap purchase volume targets as per company requirements.
Ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of required materials.
Achieve 100-200 MT Purchase Metrial Every Month.
Required 50 Clients Every Months.
4-5 Possative Leads every day.
Achieve 70-80% of monthly purchase quantity target.
3. Market Research & Pricing Intelligence
Regular visits market through sites and research to stay updated on current scrap prices, demand-supply trends, and competitor activity.
Share weekly/monthly market intelligence reports with the reporting Manger
Insure weekly price tracking reports and update to management on time.
100% awareness of region-specific scrap price fluctuations.
4. Negotiation & Cost Optimization
Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
Reduce purchase cost through smarter sourcing and alternate supplier development.Reduce purchase cost through smarter sourcing and alternate supplier development.
Maintain profitability index as per management guidelines
6. Field Visits & Physical Verification
Regularly visit supplier sites and arrenge field visit of scrap yards, and warehouses for inspection and relationship building.
Arrenge minimum 10 field visits per month.
100% inspection for first-time vendors or high-value purchases.
2-3 years of exp.
preferable Female candidates.
