Business Development Executive (BDE)

As an Independent Business Development Specialist at Drivensteel Engineering, you will play a crucial role in attracting, developing, and closing new business relationships in the USA and Canada region. Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, secure new business, drive sustainable growth, increase revenue, and forge strong relationships with new clients. To achieve this, you will generate and qualify leads through cold calling, online prospecting, and marketing campaign collaboration. It is essential to maintain in-depth awareness of industry trends across the USA & Canada and develop business development strategies based on this knowledge. Your success in this role will be measured by the growth of the client base and meeting quarterly sales quotas. We are looking for individuals who have a heart and a desire to contribute to our collaborative, inclusive culture, a track record of high achievement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and previous successful sales experience or a strong desire to begin a sales career. While previous sales experience demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas is a plus, it is not required. You should have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, a competitive nature, and a highly self-driven sense of motivation. Additionally, you should be naturally curious, passionate, and able to deal with objections and rejection on a daily basis.
