Job Description

You will be joining Drivensteel Engineering, a growing structural consulting & detailing firm, as an Independent Business Development Specialist. Your role will involve attracting, developing, and closing new business relationships in the USA and Canada region. Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, secure new business, drive sustainable growth, increase revenue, and forge strong relationships with new clients. To achieve this, you will generate and qualify leads through cold calling, online prospecting, and marketing campaign collaboration. It is essential that you maintain in-depth awareness of industry trends across the USA & Canada to develop effective business development strategies. Your success in this role will be measured by the growth of the client base and meeting quarterly sales quotas. To excel in this position, we are looking for individuals who have a heart and a desire to contribute to our collaborative, inclusive culture. You should have a track record of high achievement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and previous successful sales experience or a strong desire to start a career in sales. While previous sales experience exceeding quotas is a plus, it is not required. You should have the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, meet measurable performance goals, be naturally curious and passionate, and possess the technical aptitude to master sales tools. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree, MBA, or any graduate degree. Autonomy is encouraged to maintain a work-life balance, allowing you to structure your day-to-day schedule. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Nashik, Maharashtra. Relocation or commuting to Nashik is required before starting work. Proficiency in English is preferred, and having at least 1 year of business development experience is also preferred.
