Role Overview

Business Development Executive (BDE)

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in embedded hardware, IoT, and electronics markets.
  • Build and manage client relationships (B2B and institutional customers) while ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Generate and nurture leads via online/offline channels, exhibitions, and technical forums.
  • Use

    strategic frameworks

    such as:
  • SWOT Analysis

    – to evaluate 7Semi’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Business Model Canvas

    – to map out customer segments, value propositions, and revenue streams.
  • Design Thinking

    – to empathize with customer needs and co-create solutions with the product team.
  • Blue Ocean Strategy

    – to identify untapped markets and create differentiation from competitors.
  • Work closely with the product/technical team to align customer needs with 7Semi .
  • Prepare proposals and follow up on sales pipelines.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine business strategy.
  • Support SEO, marketing campaigns, and product promotions when needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering field

    .
  • 1–3 years of experience in

    Business Development / Sales

    (preferably in electronics, semiconductors, or IoT industry).
  • Familiarity with

    strategic business frameworks

    (SWOT, Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking, Blue Ocean Strategy).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of electronics components, development boards, and IoT modules is a big plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Comfortable with using CRM and other lead generation tools.
