Business Development Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Associate to join our expanding team in Shimoga. As a Business Development Associate, your primary responsibilities will include identifying potential customers, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and boosting revenue by showcasing our interior design services. You will play a crucial role in lead generation by utilizing various channels such as field visits, digital marketing leads, referrals, and walk-ins. Engaging with clients, understanding their interior requirements, and proposing suitable design solutions will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for converting leads into confirmed projects by collaborating effectively with the design and sales teams. Building partnerships with builders, real estate agents, and other channel partners to uncover new business opportunities will be essential. Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the Shimoga region will also be part of your role. Furthermore, maintaining detailed records of leads, interactions, and conversions using CRM tools is crucial for success in this position. Collaboration with the design, operations, and marketing teams will be vital to ensure the smooth execution of projects. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role (preferably in interiors, real estate, or home improvement industries). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to understand customer needs and provide personalized solutions. Being self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently are key attributes for this role. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is required, and knowledge of the local Shimoga market is advantageous. Fluency in Kannada and English (spoken and written) is necessary. This is a full-time position based in Shimoga. Proficiency in Hindi is preferred for this role.,
