Business Development Associate

Location: Nelson Manickam Road, Chennai.
Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team to promote and sell ERP software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and be comfortable handling end-to-end sales cycles, from lead qualification to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, qualify new sales leads generated through inbound enquiries and offline and online campaigns conducted by the marketing team.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right ERP solutions to meet their business goals.
• Conduct product demos and presentations over Zoom/Teams to prospective clients.
• Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and opportunity data.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with the marketing and pre-sales teams for lead nurturing and proposal building.
• Educate customers on ERP features, benefits, implementation processes, and pricing models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in ERP/Software/SaaS domain.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with demoing software solutions.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in selling to SMEs and mid-sized businesses.
• Knowledge of business processes like accounting, inventory, HR, and procurement.

Compensation:

• Fixed + Performance-Based Incentives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
