Business Development and Marketing Head - Mining & Exploration

Key Responsibilities of Business Development Head-Mining:

a. Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in coal mining, mineral exploration, core drilling, and allied services
• Leverage existing industry contacts with private coal companies, PSUs, mining contractors, and consultants
• Prepare and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
• Lead tender identification, bidding strategy, and client negotiations
• Build long-term relationships with Coal India subsidiaries, private miners, EPC contractors, and exploration agencies

b. Marketing & Client Relations:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for mining and exploration services
• Represent the company in industry meetings, mining conferences, and client discussions
• Strengthen brand positioning in the mining sector
• Coordinate with technical teams to prepare technical proposals, capability statements, and presentations

c. Technical & Commercial Coordination:

• Understand and communicate core drilling methods, core logging standards, exploration workflows, land acquisition and possession and mining operations
• Support pricing, cost estimation, and commercial decision-making
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming mining projects
• Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and mentor business development and marketing teams
• Work closely with top management on growth planning and expansion
• Drive revenue targets and ensure sustainable business growth

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Good experience in land acquisition and possession.
• Hands-on exposure to core drilling, core logging, and exploration projects
• Excellent industry networking and client acquisition skills
• Tendering, negotiation, and contract finalization expertise
• Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
• Communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background:

• Engineering / Geology / Mining preferred
• Prior experience working with Coal India, private coal miners, exploration companies.
• Proven track record in revenue growth and project acquisition

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
