Job Description


Should be able to Setup, Manage and validate build from vendor. Active engagement with the entire product organization with consideration to business drivers, anticipate roadblocks, encourage contributions from the entire QA and quickly address concerns. Perform deployments, Measure impacts, gather issues Information and Coordinate with vendor on Issues Resolution. Analyze System issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis and participation in decision for issues prioritization. Support SIT, Regressions, Performance tuning and integrations - Strategy, Scenarios, and cases. Perform Impact assessments of Change Request on Implemented product and facilitate Production deployments. Support business and Operations through various Testing Cycles and work as per defined SLA Vendor. Should manage and Track System Performance, Participate technically and functionally in process optimization. Coordinate product training for Business Operations users.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
  • Manage Key stake holders during Business process interactions and reviews.
  • Manage Technology stakeholders for deployments.
  • Provide innovative solutions and influence senior management to take critical decisions by providing recommendations.
  • Customer centricity - evaluates client s needs and identifies ways to address key challenges; develops partnerships and strategy to ensure market demand.
Strategic Thinking
  • Manage Conflicting Requirements.
  • Optimize technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, total cost to operate, scalability and stability.
  • Provide innovative approaches to Business problems by utilizing existing applications / recommending enhancements.
  • Strategic thinking skills ability to anticipate upcoming trends and changes in the broader environment and apply them to create competitive advantage for Mashreq.
Decision Making Authority Responsibility
  • Primary responsibility of Solution analysis for Business case leading the change delivery,
  • Change prioritization and end to end impact assessments implementation of changes in-line with business objectives/priorities.
  • Co-ordinate Testing and Release
Performance Management
  • Manage a diversified team of professionals both onshore offshore who are responsible for changes.
  • Attract, develop, and retain the highest quality Tech professionals to ensure continuous and timely support to business growth.
  • Work with team members participating in back up and training activities.
  • Adhere to banks operational risk policy.
  • Internal functions and work practices as per policy, compliance, and procedures of the organization
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science or Postgraduate
  • 15+ years experience in experience with Corporate Banking implementation.
  • Should have 10+ years of working experience in Trade Finance Solutions.
  • Subject Matter expertise and hands on experience of Trade product life cycle Import letter of credit, Bank guarantee, Bills, documentary collection etc.
  • Candidates having experience in Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX), Oracle Trade finance (OBTF/OBTFPM) Oracle Core Banking (Flexcube) application will be preferred.
  • Hands on experience of Oracle database, SQL, Java, Microservices, Restful APIs.
  • Well versed with SDLC, Quality processes and Change Management concepts.
  • Good knowledge of SWIFT, Payments Gateways, client browsers and configurations etc.
  • Should have worked on the Product Designing and implementation with respect to Business requirements.
  • Cross border team working experience.
  • Knowledge of Banking domain is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent Business Process Management Experience
  • Experience of working in large scale transformation Project involving Process optimization and changes.
  • Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret solution documentation, identify areas of concern, and recommend approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to document requirement specs for large scale banking applications.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business users and Tech lead.
  • Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
  • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
