The primary role of a Business Analyst is to act as an essential conduit between an organization's IT capabilities and its business goals. Interpersonal skills including clear and effective verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation are important. An understanding of industry-specific knowledge, business process modeling, and strategic thinking is also required. Project management skills, planning, organization, and risk management are essential for this role.
