Job Description: Business Analyst Position Overview The IT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the automotive Parts & Product Support team. The primary responsibility is to understand the business processes, interact with business partners, dealer business partners, and other stakeholders, and translate these interactions for technology implementation and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Understand Business Processes: Gain a deep understanding of the business processes within the Parts & Product Support function. Stakeholder Interaction: Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders including business, dealer business partners, and other relevant parties to gather requirements and insights. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and aligned with business needs. Data Analysis: Analyze requirements and data to convert them into meaningful business insights that inform decision-making processes. Translating Requirements: Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the IT team to develop and implement appropriate solutions. Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team to ensure mutual understanding and alignment of goals and objectives. Support Implementation: Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in business processes and systems, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Support: Provide training and support to business users on new systems and processes as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of automotive Parts & Product Support processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies. Experience with project management principles and practices is a plus.
