Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and document them clearly.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to ensure requirements align with business goals and user needs.
  • Process Improvement and Solution Design
  • Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and business models to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to guide business strategy.
  • Project Management Support
  • Assist in planning and managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.
  • Provide support for testing, including developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing, and validating results.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and other departments to ensure clear communication.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Gather feedback and address concerns to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Documentation and Compliance
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirement specifications, user manuals, and process guides.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting data-driven decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.
